Thank you veryyyy muuuuch! Ive been searching for solution to this for the whole nights, changing the htaccess for this and that, editing my wp-config for this and that, and nothing happened, even I got database error for wrong htaccess configuration.

I never thought that it was so so so simple like this! Thanks a lot, you’re my savior :D Now I’ve got better wordpress subdomains!

Yes, there is! Enter the following in your .htaccess file (replace subdomain.yoururl.com with your actual subdomain and URL and it will automatically redirect to your main URL:

RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !subdomain.yoururl.com$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://subdomain.yoururl.com/$1 [L,R=301]

Hi,

Thank you for your tutorial. How ever after moving from sub directory to sub domain I am able to get to my wordpress site by either using the sub domain or the sub directory web address.

Is there a way to stop being able to get to it via the sub directory web address?

I do still use WorkFlowy here and there — mainly for brainstorming. I use ToDoist for maintaining task lists :)

I hate hyperbole, but Workflowy was a great leap forward for organizing my chaotic life and brain.

I could not make the @username adding work. It did not save and never showed up.
